Dia AI is a wellness carb logger and a calculator that uses numbers you enter. It does not recommend an insulin dose, and it does not control a pump.
What you can do
- Photograph a meal, say what you ate, scan a barcode, or type the foods yourself.
- See a carbohydrate total and a ± range. Edit any item before you save it.
- Run the calculator with your own ratio, correction factor, target, and current glucose. The result is the formula, not a dose Dia picked.
- Read glucose from Apple Health or a linked Dexcom account. Carb totals can be written to Apple Health. Insulin delivery is not.
What stays free
Carbohydrate totals, the ± range, and editing a meal are never behind Pro. Manual logging and barcodes are unlimited. Free includes 3 AI scans a day (photo, voice, and multi-angle). Pro is optional, offered after the first saved meal, and can be skipped.
Delete your account
In the app, open Profile and delete your account. That asks the server to remove family-share links you own and Dexcom tokens tied to your Apple ID, then wipes the meals, photos, and profile on that iPhone. If the server call fails, the phone is left as it is so you can retry. An Apple subscription is cancelled in the App Store, not inside Dia AI.
Family share
Profile can create a 30-day link after you sign in with Apple. That link does not include meals or glucose. The page at diaai.app/share says nothing is shared yet. The link token itself is not in that address.
Dexcom
Cloud readings are often about an hour behind the live Dexcom app in the US, and can be further behind elsewhere. A reading the sensor only marks High or Low is shown as that word. It is not turned into a glucose number.
